The nice people at the Scmap! Guides have decided to include one of my photos in their guide to the Sacramento Zoo.  I was there this past July where I met a lovely little tortoise out for a stroll in the zoo's green.  I posted a picture of him (her?) on my Flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lilygrace48/) and Schmap! found it there.  The picture, as it appears on their site, is fully credited to me and is linked to my Flickr account as well.  You can see their site here:  http://www.schmap.com/sacramento/activities_landpark/#p=115328&i=115328_81.jpg

Take a look, let me know what you think, and thanks for stopping by!

Hanging my work! 10/12/2009

My photography will soon be hanging in The Studio: A Dance Center for Adults.  It's a wonderful little dance studio where adults can take both beginner and open classes in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap dance as well as yoga, stretching, and some specialized classes (belly dancing was yesterday).  I attend their beginner ballet classes twice a week and love it!  After a 15 year hiatus from dancing, it's a great way to get back into it, or to start fresh.  I am very excited about having my work hung, and they have been wonderful about agreeing to help me sell my work, without taking a cut from the profits!  They are located at 1404A Beacon St in Brookline, MA.  In the meantime, I have been out taking pictures and loving the cooler weather of fall.  I will be posting the new pics as soon as I can.
Enjoy life!
