Schmap!! Guide to the Sacramento Zoo 10/25/2009
The nice people at the Scmap! Guides have decided to include one of my photos in their guide to the Sacramento Zoo. I was there this past July where I met a lovely little tortoise out for a stroll in the zoo's green. I posted a picture of him (her?) on my Flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lilygrace48/) and Schmap! found it there. The picture, as it appears on their site, is fully credited to me and is linked to my Flickr account as well. You can see their site here: http://www.schmap.com/sacramento/activities_landpark/#p=115328&i=115328_81.jpg Take a look, let me know what you think, and thanks for stopping by! Hanging my work! 10/12/2009
My photography will soon be hanging in The Studio: A Dance Center for Adults. It's a wonderful little dance studio where adults can take both beginner and open classes in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap dance as well as yoga, stretching, and some specialized classes (belly dancing was yesterday). I attend their beginner ballet classes twice a week and love it! After a 15 year hiatus from dancing, it's a great way to get back into it, or to start fresh. I am very excited about having my work hung, and they have been wonderful about agreeing to help me sell my work, without taking a cut from the profits! They are located at 1404A Beacon St in Brookline, MA. In the meantime, I have been out taking pictures and loving the cooler weather of fall. I will be posting the new pics as soon as I can. Enjoy life! Spring is here! 04/03/2009
Finally! I know it's Spring when I'm either wearing my sunglasses with my windows rolled down or huddled under my raincoat wishing it wasn't so dreary. As that describes the last two weeks here in the Northeast, I'm excited! Springtime is when plants pop up and turn that lovely shade of pale green, birds are singing, children are laughing, and all those other fun cliches. Spring is also when I get the camera bug again. Without fail my photography flags a bit over the winter (as there are only so many pictures I can take of snow and still find it interesting) and comes bursting back out with the warmer weather. My macro setting is waiting for new buds, my zoom waiting to capture birds in the sky. Welcome to my site! 01/25/2009
Hello! Obviously this site is still under construction and I'm working out a few kinks. Page titles may change, pictures may come and go, and I may change the whole design at some point in the future. Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated, you can email me through the contact section. If you'd like a print let me know. The prices will be up soon. This site is something I've been wanting to set up for a long time, so it's nice to finally have it up and running. Bear with me as the changes are made and hopefully I'll figure out the best way to have it set up soon. Thanks for checking out my site and look again soon for new pics! |
